How I can share folders on the desktop Windows 7 2 PC?
I want to share folders with full permissions to copy, cut and removed between 2 folder on the desktop of the two separate Windows 7 machines. I do not want an error message telling me that "Windows can not access computer Folder name ". This is the message we have been getting regularly! Thanks.
In "Control Panel" go to "Network and Sharing Center" and in the left pane go to advanced settings and make sure file and printer sharing, and feature detection network. Click the folder you want share and click "Properties", click the "Share" tab, click on "Advanced Sharing", select "Share this folder "and that's it. I do not use Win7 HomeGroup for security, since Windows randomly decides to share all your files.
