How Do I Build A Computer
How much should it cost to build a basic computer?
Now I don’t do any gaming, video editing, or anything that would require a lot of power. Mainly I would be just converting video files to DVD and burning them, surfing the web, and downloading music. Of course I can just buy a pre-built computer that can do all of this without a problem, but I want to have some kind of computer building experience just for fun. How much do you think I should spend on building a simple rig?

These are much better quality hardwares than you can get from any low price prebuilt system like Emachines and whatnot.
You can basically just upgrade the processor to something more powerful should your needs grow. Anything else is solid
