building a computer need help?
Alright, i am building a computer and wanted to know if there was like some guide or guides to building one, every time i search all i found is the actually building of the computer such as putting the parts in etc. I was wondering if there was a website or some kind of guide that actually goes through the different parts and which would be best for what scenario and what to look for in different parts and how to tell if there compatible. So when i build a computer i can customize it to what i want/need and i am not putting to much money in things i don’t need.
make sure if ur buying ATX stuff it’s all ATX.. especially the case just to make sure they fit… best website is newegg.com for computer parts.. they’re cheap n they give u good deals… now first u gotta know what ur gonna use it for… 2nd make sure u can afford it….
check motherboard(aka MOBO) how much stuff it can take
u dont need a graphics card if ur not gonna play any games… no need for separate soundcard if ur not planin to be a musician expert or some sort…most important things are RAM, PROCESSOR and GRAPHICS/VIDEO CARD (if ur a gamer or a person who wants to do all sorts of media stuff)… hard drive depends on u.. if ur gonna save tons of videos.. like TONS grab a 750GB hard drive… oh n for the hard drive make sure ur buying the right one… if u got a mobo with no IDE then make sure that hard drive got SATA not IDE n vice versa..
now for the power supply make sure u got everything settled b4 buying a PSU… i suggest get thermaltake
graphics card if ur gonna need it i suggest nvdia or RADEON
soundcard i dont really know
for the processor AMD is good and INTEL IS GOOD.. if ur a gamer u gotta ask another gamer..
